How is this calculated?
We use the modified Bavarian formula, the most widely accepted method for converting international grades to the German scale:
German GPA = 1 + 3 × (max − your grade) / (max − min passing grade)
This is used by many German universities but is not officially mandated. Always verify with your target university — some use their own conversion tables or require certified translations (e.g. via anabin database).
